Media has changed a lot since I was younger. We only had 1 television in my house and we didn't have a computer until I was in 10th grade! We didn't have DVD's, iPods, iPads, laptops, youtube, facebook....it didn't exist! I am amazed at how much media I use every day. As a teacher I use tons of technology: email, activboards, brainpop, youtube, and blogs just to name a few. I am curious what you all are using these days!

Media sounds like a internet to me, one internet.One of the forms to me of media is Google,iGoogle,facebook, and Yahoo. Those feel like real media stuff not YouTube because its videos only so its websites that have emails or search places like Google to me.

I also feel like there are so many different media outlets that people are often communicating online instead of in person. Do you all feel that way?
I also think it would be fun for you ask your parents about how media has changed since you were born. I did not have a cell phone until I was 17 years old. At that time I was only allowed to make 3 phone calls a month and text messaging didn't exist on my phone yet!

Media has changed over the years from Ipods to TV's. I use media as my email, ipods, tv ect. I have used lot's of technology to research, to play games, for entertainment, and some doctors use it a lot.

What is media to me? Well,to me, it is simply technologey. I use my computer alot at home. Same with my Dad. he does sales, so, he needs it too. I LOVE MEDIA!! lol.

I think media is all the technology, advertising, and print such as magazines and books in the world. I have an iPod that I use ALL the time. For POW homework I use google-docs on my computer. Spending time with my family may include watching movies!

Media is awesome!! I really enjoy using it. With media we can have iPods,T.V.,computers and lots of other technology. One of my favorite media devices is the iPad. I like the iPad because it has awesome features and you can film videos very well.

Media is really awesome! It allows us to watch videos, movies, listen to music, play games, watch TV, write emails. All of those awesome features are packed into iPads, iPods, computers, phones, and small devices. It is actually pretty cool!

The forms of media I use these days are iPod's, computers, television (The news of course) and, newspapers. I would say that my favorite type of media is my iPod so i can just look it up and know what is going on in the world. My least favorite type of social media is newspaper because it has limited space and it can not hold that much information and i do not like waiting for Sunday to read the newspaper. >-<

Media truly does change. I remember as a younger kid using the paint app on our windows 98 computer. Now I use often my iPod touch, and iMac to play games and get information. Also I read a few magazines and often read the news paper. Finally I read a ton of books. Media is great!

I use media everyday even though I try not to. I usually use i-phones, i-pods, laptops and television. It is very addicting, but I limit myself to this technology. Sometimes I try to think what it was like without technology but its hard to think that way because I have lived with it my whole life !!!!!!!! -Abigail;)

Is a T-shirt with a message on it media? How about a backpack with the manufacturer's name, like L.L. Bean? A shoe with a manufacturer's name, like Nike?
